Meeting of Nightlife staffers on 26 November 2008.

Chy and dom want to turn nightlife into a charity-based organistation. They're looking for ideas.
Chatway is now aware of our existance.
1st order of business: chatter rules. [DOM]
-no flooding
-mark nsfw content
-Act respectfully
--don't ask for asl more than once.
--ask to p2p
--Sexual harassment will result in an immediate kill from the server. Repeat offenders will be k-lined.
--respect other's limits- if you continue to talk to 'harass someone after they've asked you to quit, and have talked to a mod and shown evidence of this harassment, you WILL be kicked from the room. do it again, and you will be banned.
-Understand that every room off of the main rooms has its own rules.
-No more than two connections per host, please.
-If asked to remove your bot, please do so immediately.
-Bots will be held to the same standards as chatters.
People who break the chatter rules with bots will be punished more severely than those who simply break chatting rules themselves.
2nd order of business: op rules [DOM]
-Ops also must follow the 'chatter rules'.
-No 'fun' kicks or bans.
-Take EVERY complaint seriously.
-Hear both sides of an argument before making a decision, even when you were present. Often there are things happening that are not clear to the plain eye.
-Know your limits: if you're emotional or not thinking clearly, PLEASE de-op. we'd rather a grumpy chatter than a grumpy mod.
-Be mature. Set an example for chatters.
-We know people can be annoying, But unless its annoying a vast majority of the chatting population take it up with an o-line (Operator/owner/admin)
-When away for long periods of time (over 30 mins), please de-op yourself.
-If you happen to notice something going on and you're not opped, help the marked op to solve it.
-Please, No 'modding' while deopped!
-Participate! It's your chat, too!
3rd order of business: creation of a room for help on serious matters. [Dom]

2.>>Proposal to allow discussion of business to continue even with the absence of a member, if more than 1/2 of all the staffers are present.
3.>>Proposal: Chatters must be on the posted permission list in the forum to host bots.-called to a vote, passed.
4.>>Proposal: To have a set time (9:00 pm EST, every friday) for council meetings, to allow regular chatters to have a voice.
5.>>Proposal: Mell cannot be mod in any main room ever. Period.
6.>>Proposal:All wars must be approved by the council.

Closing thoughts:
-Each person keep a list of things they want to have discussed next go-round (Friday the 5th.)
-Attract more chatters.
-No attacking Chatway, on account of negotiations taking place.
